Lebanon’s restructured Eurobonds recovery value could reach 24.6 cents on the dollar, Goldman Sachs says

Happy to announce that I was interviewed extensively by L’Orient Le Jour on the topic of Lebanese Eurobonds. In short I argued during the interview that the opinion expressed recently by Goldman Sachs that a ‘base case’ scenario would bring the Eurobonds up to a value of 24.6 was hopelessly optimistic, and that such an outcome would occur only in a ‘best case’ scenario in which every major political, economic and institutional reform took place.
