Tim G. DelaneyTim Delaneyis a principal in Financial Training Partners. He teaches credit, company analysis, corporate finance, and debt structuring at commercial and investment banks around the world. He is the co-author of FTP’s Fundamentals of Company Analysis and Fundamentals of Debt Structuring. Mr. Delaney is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Banking at New York University.

Before joining FTP, Mr. Delaney worked in the training group at J.P. Morgan in New York, where he was in charge of the Global Credit training program and the financial modeling and credit curriculum for the Investment Banking and Global Markets training programs. In addition, he designed and taught credit analysis and financial modeling in J.P. Morgan’s Client Training program.

Mr. Delaney was previously a banker at Citibank, where he was responsible for a portfolio of large corporate credits in Los Angeles and New York, in addition to corporate finance transactions for the Citibank Private Bank. He also executed leveraged buyouts and mezzanine investments at General Electric Capital Corporation.

Mr. Delaney earned a BA from Fordham University and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California Los Angeles.

Mr. Delaney lives in Whately, Massachusetts, USA, with his wife and three children.
